Welcome to
the Triangle Wiki
project.

An ambitious effort to create
the Triangle’s first community
owned website is under way.

TriangleWiki is not
open to the public

Right now, we’re looking for content contributors from the Raleigh, Durham, Cary regional area who are willing to record interesting culture, places, and events.

We plan to build 250 pages of awesome Triangle-based content before the Triangle Wiki website is open to the public.

I want to participate!

This is a grassroots initiative forming right here in the Triangle by a bunch of Raleigh City Camp Staffers. Send us an email: contact@trianglewiki.org

What’s the point?

To increase collaboration, document our region, open data and share information across the region.

A “wiki” is just an online, editable website, developed collaboratively by a community of users. Ours focuses on the Triangle area.

Who’s the audience?

Maybe you’d like to blog about a topic like politics, weather, local artists or cycling routes, but don’t want to commit to writing on a frequent basis. Maybe you know a little about local history that’s in danger of being forgotten. The Triangle Wiki is the place where you can share your knowledge.

Is this a software project?

Nope, this is not a software project.

Triangle Wiki is one of several pilot communities in the world running the next generation of wiki software by LocalWiki. Take a tour!
